Minutes from the October meeting were read and approved.

Treasurer's report was given. We currently have 4812.08 in the bank.

OLD BUSINESS
Arena Cleanup was Nov. 8. 4 members were present. Randy brought blocks to put the picnic tables up on. Antifreeze still needs to be placed in the toilets and we need to call about the water being turned off so we don't receive water bills during the winter.

We are still waiting on proposals for a possible Cook Shack Operator

The Pancake Supper will be March 16th at the Holts Summit McDonalds

It was reported that it would be best to wait until Spring to add the sand.

NEW BUSINESS
A ribbon inventory was taken at the cleanup. If we wait to order after December 1, we can save 10% on the order which would basically cover shipping costs. Ribbon costs for all the rosettes for the Circuit show plus enough flat ribbons to cover 75% of the Fun Shows will cost approximately $275. It was approved to place the order after Dec. 1.

The Sho-Me Show will be the Double Point Show. A tentative show bill has been completed. New classes this year are Reining and Driving.

We are looking for volunteers to carry the flag for Grand Entry. If you are interested, let Jan Kump know.

Walley discussed what to do about the driveway and mailbox issues. We would like to make it easier and safer to get the bigger trailers in and out. There are quite a few issues involved in this but we would like to see if it would be at all possible to widen the entrance by about 12 feet and also remove part of the hill that blocks the view when turning out of the driveway. Walley will continue to investigate these issues and will report back as needed.

There is a possibility we could get another set of bleachers from the Jefferson City School

Several arena panels have been damaged and are in need of replacement for safety reasons. Someone mentioned a neighbor may have some they would donate.

The Mid-MO Banquet is January 31. Doors open at 6:00 and we will eat at 7:00. Menu includes Fried Chicken, Rosemary Pork, twice baked potato, salad, green beans and chef's choice of vegetable, dinner rolls, apple cobbler and ice cream. A cash bar will be available. Cost is 11.25, children 10 and under 6.50. If you have a really small child that will eat off your plate, there will be no cost.
A Silent Auction will be held at the Mid-MO Banquet. Please bring auction items with you. The proceeds from this event helps to pay the insurance.

We will also do a youth gift exchange which Dawn will be in charge of. Any youth 18 and under whom wish to participate should bring a wrapped gift ($10 or less).

We are still taking officer and elected position nominations. If you wish to run for something or nominate someone, please let Kim or Goldie know. Election of Officers will take place at the banquet.

It was requested that we again do certificates of recognition for the awards banquet.

We would like to again do the slide show at the banquet but are in desperate need of photos. Anyone that has photos they would like to submit, please e-mail them to Joyce.

Kathy Carew is still taking Special Person nominations. Please send a short paragraph as to why you are nominating this person to her.

The 2009 Sponsorship drive is under way. If you obtained a sponsorship last year, please approach them again to see if they will sponsor in 2009. Also, consider other businesses as new sponsors. If you need Joyce to e-mail you a form, let her know. Forms will also be available at the banquet.

The 2009 Membership form is now available. If you pay your membership on or before the night of the Banquet you will receive 1 free Fun Show entry form for individual memberships or 2 free Fun Show entry forms for family memberships. Karen requested these be placed on a different color to help keep them separate from paid Fun Show entries.
